Hailey Palmer, LCSW

Therapist. Clinical Consultant. Workshop Leader.

Hi, I’m Hailey (she/they)! I'm an Internal Family Systems therapist, improv facilitator, and clinical consultant based in Northwest Arkansas — also offering virtual therapy across Arkansas and Illinois.

Since 2020, I’ve been helping adults (18+) slow down, turn inward, and develop compassionate relationships with every part of themselves — even the parts that feel messy, chaotic, or hard to love. I'm trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) at Level 2, and I also draw from mindfulness, somatic psychotherapy, and creative arts practices in my work.

Therapy with me is collaborative, grounded, and alive. We’ll start with classic talk therapy and go deeper from there — noticing what parts of you show up in session, what they might be trying to protect, and how your body holds wisdom your mind might miss.

My Approach: Parts, Presence, Play.

I believe healing happens when we’re able to befriend all the different parts of ourselves — not just the ones that look good on paper. That’s why I use IFS, a model that helps connect the dots between present struggles and deeper origin stories.

In our work together, I’ll support you in:

  • Understanding your emotional patterns and responses

  • Building internal trust and compassion

  • Listening to your body’s cues and signals

  • Making space for creativity, joy, and connection

As a queer therapist and social worker, I bring awareness to how identity, oppression, and systems impact our internal worlds. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ folks and individuals navigating complex trauma, anxiety, grief, and identity exploration.

Experience

I have over five years of clinical experience as a therapist, with a focus on complex trauma, anxiety, grief, and identity exploration. I continue to engage in advanced IFS training and consultation to sharpen my skills and stay rooted in growth.

I also bring over ten years of experience as an improviser, performer, and teaching artist. I trained at iO Chicago and CIC Theater, performed on long-running improv teams, and worked as a teaching artist in Chicago starting in 2015. I’ve coached improv teams for over five years and taught improv classes for two years, blending creativity, collaboration, and presence into all of my work.

Off the Couch: Improv & Consultation

In addition to therapy, I offer:

IFS Consultation & Supervision
For LSWs working toward full licensure or clinicians wanting to deepen their IFS work. My supervision style blends skill-building, personal reflection, and attention to how your own parts show up in the therapy room.

Applied Improv Workshops
Applied improvisation brings the tools of improv — presence, flexibility, creativity — into real-life settings. I design custom workshops for:

  • Mental health professionals

  • Workplace teams

  • Groups looking to build confidence, connection, and flow

Whether you’re here to start therapy, explore consultation, or bring some playful energy to your team — welcome.

I bring my full self to this work, and I invite you to bring yours too.
